Munch Munch. Slurp Slurp
I like to eat. A LOT. and unfortunately like to drink (a lot (but this will be another post)).
So here is my list of good foods that have left a lasting impression on me throughout the years (including the cities I've been to) 🗺️
listed by alphabetical order
Bay Area
- Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria
My dad's favorite pizza place. He loved their "New Haven White Clam" and used to get it when he had a long day at work.
- Crepe Vine
The OG hang out spot for the high school kids in the Mountain View area.
- Dishdash
My parents loved going here when I went away for college.
- Kirin Restaurant
My dad and his friend always took us here for dinner. Ever since I remember, city Chinese food meant a meaning of precious time for me.
- Koi Palace
Sunday brunch dim sum is a staple in our family. We've unfortunately seen dim sum places come and go, but this is one of the ones that is a classic and stayed.
- Layang Layang
My parents lived in Singapore for quite some time and I was actually born there. Whenever we craved good satay or some SEA food, we always stopped by here for a quick meal. Unfortunately a lot of the SEA restaurants that I grew up with closed, but this remained and hopefully will for a long while.
Boston
- Toscanini’s
I've introduced to this ice cream store to so many people and my fellow Boston residents agree. It's located in Cambridge near MIT and Harvard, so it's a great stop if you're in the area!
Busan
- 개미집 (Kemichip)
- (Daeji-gukbap):
Chino
- Los Portales: 12542 Central Ave, Chino, CA 91710
My old Latino boss first recommended me this. Their ceviches are SO GOOD.
- Wang Cho Korean BBQ: 3911 Grand Ave, Chino, CA 91710
My mum and I's hang out spot after my weekly shift. We loved their buffets and still cry about them. One of the few good Asian food locations within Chino (without going out to Diamond Bar).
Cleveland
- Algebra Tea House: 2136 Murray Hill Rd, Cleveland, OH 44106
I love their falafel sandwiches and herb teas. This is such an OG first date spot.
- Barrio: 503 Prospect Ave E, Cleveland, OH 44114
I used to go here every week for like two years straight. One of the main things I miss about CLE.
- Indian Flame: 11607 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106
I used to go here on Sunday brunches. Love their butter chicken curry and rice.
- Mitchell's Ice Cream: 1867 W 25th St, Cleveland, OH 44113
<3 that's it.
- The Fairmount Cocktail Bar: 2448 Fairmount Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44106
This is next to the Barrio in Cleveland Heights. Their moscow mules made me a fan of moscow mules. Love the vibe here.
- The Coffee House: 11300 Juniper Rd, Cleveland, OH 44106
Their little pastries and cakes are so good. And it's a good study spot (if you can get there early enough).
Hokkaido
- 農家バル FOODBABY
- アジアンバーラマイ(スープカレー)
NYC
- BCD Tofu House
- Fat Witch Bakery
- LOS TACOS NO.1 (Chelsea Market)
- Max Brenner's
- Tipsy Scoop: 217 E 26th St, New York, NY 10010
alcoholic ice-cream. pretty self-explanatory.

- ちりとり鍋
- まるさんかくしかく
- お宝まんちん
